This project was commissioned in conjunction with the inauguration of the National Portrait Gallery exhibition "Face of Fashion" (2007), showcasing the artistic contributions of Corinne Day. Reflecting on the process of creating the photographs, Day remarked, 'I suggested to Kate that we have a conversation about a serious subject. The subject she chose to talk about revealed her true feelings and in turn defined her character.'
